Message from Me:
As a business owner of more years than I will admit, I've got experience in making decisions that can help some people or hurt a lot of them. How much money can we lose before laying people off? Will we risk offering a new program with a small hope of success for the reward of helping a few people in need? Who will clean the toilets?!
Another month, another round of choices to be made. Regardless of the choice on the table, I guarantee you there is a baby entrepreneur or seasoned ignoramus who will apply the filter of "Is it really time for this venture?" or my favorite, "Will the market support this?"
If we were Walmart or Apple, this would be permissible. We are not Walmart or Apple. The filter many a small business owner ona mission (and person reclaiming their health) should lean on most is:
"Do I want this? Is this worth it to me?"
We have the advantage of choosing when to open our doors for business, and reaching a little to the left of the chips and grabbing the carrots instead. No committees, no meetings that could have been an email, no emails that could have been a fist fight. (My family is Scottish.)
As long as what's outside us is calling the shots, we will stay empty on the inside as we let the world pick for us. Breaking news, have you seen the world lately? No, thanks. But we can live from the inside out by choosing our thoughts, our feelings, our words, and our actions. In a way we become filled, maybe not right away, maybe not even the first few trys.
But it sure beats the hell out of giving up our autonomy, and calling it fate.
Have fun

Notes:
- I'd up the fat and fiber some by having something like avocados or guacamole on hand at work for lunch. The Balsamic is too liquid-y to consume all of it, and it's lower in fat but higher in sugar. Is it perfect macros? No, I didn't workout and who gives a crap, anyway? I'm feeling amazing and seeing my top two abs again.
